THE BASA CENTER
The BASA Center is a 3,400 square foot indoor soccer training facility in the Temescal neighborhood of Oakland. It is one of the only dedicated indoor soccer training spaces in the East Bay, which means your player trains consistently year-round regardless of weather.
The facility is designed for focused development. No distractions, no sharing space with unrelated activities. Every session at the BASA Center is a structured training environment where players get real coaching and real repetitions.
We serve families from across Oakland, including Temescal, Rockridge, Piedmont Avenue, Montclair, Fruitvale, Grand Lake, and beyond. We also serve families from Berkeley, Piedmont, and other nearby East Bay communities.
SOCCER TRAINING THAT TAKES THE GAME SERIOUSLY
Oakland has a strong soccer culture, and Bay Area Soccer Academy is built to serve it. Our coaches have played and coached at the college level. They know what good technique looks like, they know how to teach it, and they know how to make the process engaging for players of every age.
The BASA Center is the only indoor soccer training facility of its kind in the Temescal area. That means no cancelled sessions, no competing for field time, and no training in the rain. Just consistent, high-quality development year-round.
We offer programs for every stage of development, from toddlers in Little Footballers (powered by Bay Area Soccer Academy) to high school players in our High Performance program. Every program is designed with the same philosophy: technical excellence, game intelligence, and building genuine confidence in every player.
Sessions are available in English and Spanish. Javier and his staff communicate in the language that is most comfortable for your player and your family.
