SERIOUS DEVELOPMENT.
GENUINE FUN.
The BASA Oakland Summer Camp is built on a simple belief: young players develop best when they are challenged, supported, and having a great time. Every session is structured around real skill-building: dribbling, passing, shooting, and game intelligence, all delivered in an environment where players feel safe to try, fail, and improve.
For parents of younger players, we understand that dropping a 5 or 6-year-old into a new environment can feel uncertain. Our staff includes on-site childcare support specifically for younger and first-time campers. Their job is to make sure your child is comfortable, settled, and ready to play.
"Between 2013 and 2016, Javier served as Camp Director for UC Berkeley Soccer Camps, overseeing more than 800 players each summer. That experience shaped every element of how BASA camps are designed."

WHAT MAKES OUR CAMPS DIFFERENT
On-Site Childcare Support
For younger or first-time campers, our staff includes childcare providers who help players manage emotions, take breaks, and feel comfortable throughout the day. No player is left behind.
Small Groups, Real Coaching
Coach-to-player ratios of 1:8 to 1:10 ensure every player receives direct feedback. Sessions are structured, not chaotic. Every drill has a purpose.
Multi-Sport Afternoons
Six hours of soccer is a lot for a 7-year-old. Our afternoon program blends soccer with other activities to keep energy high and prevent burnout while still developing athleticism.
Indoor Facility, Rain or Shine
BASA Center is a 3,400 sq ft indoor soccer facility. Weather never cancels camp. Players train in a professional environment regardless of what the Bay Area summer brings.
