BASA x BAY AREA GK

THE BAY AREA'S PREMIER SPRING BREAK CAMP

Bay Area Soccer Academy and Bay Area GK are joining forces for an intensive two-day spring break experience. This camp brings together the Bay Area's top striking, defending, and goalkeeping coaches for a complete training environment unlike anything else in the region.

Strikers, defenders, and keepers will train together in real game scenarios, each developing their craft from their own specialist perspective. This is not a general camp. Every session is purposeful, high-quality, and designed to produce measurable improvement over two days.

STRIKER SCHOOL
Spring Striker School

STRIKER SCHOOL

APRIL 8 AND 9 · WILDER FIELDS, ORINDA

Two days of intensive finishing and attacking play. Strikers will work on technique in front of goal, movement off the ball, positioning, and the mental composure required to score in pressure situations. Every session is built around maximum reps and real game scenarios.

  • Finishing technique and shot mechanics
  • Movement off the ball and creating space
  • Positioning and reading the game as a striker
  • 1v1 situations against goalkeepers
  • Small-sided games to apply skills learned
KEEPER SCHOOL
Spring Keeper School

KEEPER SCHOOL

BASA x BAY AREA GK · APRIL 8 AND 9

Bay Area GK founder Kevin Esquivel leads a dedicated goalkeeper track focused on the specific technical and mental challenges keepers face. Goalkeepers will train alongside strikers in live game scenarios, developing their reflexes, positioning, and confidence in 1v1 situations.

  • Shot-stopping technique and footwork
  • 1v1 situations against live strikers
  • Positioning and reading the game as a keeper
  • Distribution and starting attacks from the back
  • Mental preparation and decision-making under pressure
DEFENDER SCHOOL
Spring Defender School

DEFENDER SCHOOL

APRIL 8 AND 9 · WILDER FIELDS, ORINDA

Defending is one of the most undertrained areas of youth soccer. This track gives defenders two days of hyper-focused training on the principles that make a great defender. Players will learn 1v1 defending, zone principles, and positioning, then immediately apply those skills in game situations against live attackers.

  • 1v1 defending principles and body positioning
  • Zone defending and defensive shape
  • Positioning and reading the game as a defender
  • Defending in small-sided games against live attackers
  • Communication and organizing the defensive line

WHY THIS CAMP

AN EXCLUSIVE COLLABORATION

Specialist Coaches for Every Position

This is not a general camp where everyone does the same drills. Strikers train with a striker specialist. Keepers train with a goalkeeper specialist. Defenders train with coaches who understand defending at the highest level. Every player gets coaching that is directly relevant to their position.

Real Game Scenarios From Day One

All three groups train together in integrated sessions. Strikers go against keepers and defenders. Defenders compete against live attackers. Keepers face real shots from trained strikers. This creates the kind of competitive environment that produces real improvement in just two days.

Small Groups, Individual Attention

Spots are limited intentionally. Every player gets seen, coached, and given specific feedback. This is not a camp where your child gets lost in a large group. The coaching staff knows every player by name and tracks their progress across both days.

A Complete Training Experience

Physical technique. Mental toughness. Game intelligence. The coaching staff at BASA and Bay Area GK bring over 20 years of experience developing players at every level, from youth to college to professional. This is the quality of coaching your child deserves.
